This week in our “That [Wedding] Moment When…” series, we’re going to talk about one of the [best]ies parts of your big day: getting ready with the friends and family who are just as excited to watch you say “I do.” At that point, both you and your partner have ALL the butterflies (not cold feet, just cute, anxious, and fluttering butterflies in your stomach), you might even need to get some fresh air every once and a while to stave off the nausea, but it’s all wonderful and totally normal. Why? Well, because it means that in just a few hours, you’ll be smack dab in the middle of the date that’s been etched in your mind for months; the date that’s been saved on your guests’ social calendars for just as long. So, while it doesn’t have to be a crazy morning bidding adieu to your singlehood—after all, you’ve probably already done that with a bachelorette party—it still should be one of the most fun and memorable times with the people who mean the most to you in life.
