{Details of Vlog}
Today’s vlog, “How to add either an special embellishment or spot colour to your wedding invitation suite.’ I would like to share with you small changes that make to your invitation that could make a huge impact and a long lasting impression on your wedding guests.
our wedding colors will be some of the most defining features of your big day. While they’re not as prominent as, say, your dress or your first dance as newlyweds, but your wedding color palette subtly ties all the details together, from the flowers to the signage and the table décor, into one cohesive theme. When guests leave at the end of the night, a consistent color palette is one detail that they won’t forget. After all, if you put in the effort to craft escort cards that match the bridesmaids dresses and the signature drink, your loved ones will take notice.
{Wedding Color Trend}
Before we get started here are some wedding colour trending combinations for 2021/22:
1. Pink, Blue and Ivory
2. Emerald and Ruby
3. Yellow and Blush
4. Indigo and Violet
5. Muted Neutrals
6. Green and Ivory
7. Blue and Gold
8. Red and White
9. Blush, Emerald and White
10. Orange and Fuchsia
{Burgundy sparkle up}
We taken invitation suite EWDM004, a beautiful floral burgundy design and added a little pink sparkle. We achieved this look and feel by adding a glitter backing card to the main invite and finishing it off with matching glitter belly band and soft pearl blush wax seal.
The original set has a pearl cream envelope, by changing the envelope to burgundy you create a bolder finishing look. If you want to take it a step further, you can add a sparkle envelope liner as seen in our Vlog, or a custom printed liner that uses the floral elements from the invitation as seen in the photo above.
Many people say you should not mix pink and red, but in the right tones this colour combination can be incredible and create a long lasting impression with your wedding guests.

{Blush & Navy combo}
In this invitation suite EWWS311, which a whimsical, subtle blush combination with delicate glitter detail, I want to highlight how a bold contrasting colour, like Navy, can actually enhance the beauty of the blush even more.
Here we added a satin navy belly band to the jacket, with a delicate jewelled embellishment to play off the laser cut rose detail of the jacket. We also swopped out the cream pearl envelope for a matt navy blue envelope. I love matching matt and pearl/ shinny material to create depth in contrast.
Blue is a popular favorite color around the world, and is beloved across a variety of cultures. The color blue is vibrant, bold, and bright, while still remaining mellow and ethereal, and the perfect spot colour for any wedding pallet. Strong hues are making a come back in the 2021/2022 wedding trends.

{Airy hues of blue & mint}
With this invitation suite EWWS304, I was inspired by ethereal feel and thought a soft whispy ribbon with pearl white wax seal would finish this invite off and take this suite to the next level in textures.
In my opinion, adding a wax seal says, you took time and care, patience and deliberation in putting your invitation suite together. The value in that is irreplaceable. It is one of my favourite embellishments for weddings and special occasions. The perfect finishing touch.
You can create a custom design, a logo, or even a family crest or choose from many standard designs. The size ranges from 20mm – 50mm discs. You can pour direct onto the material or have them premade with double sided stickers.
‘Beauty, strength, youth, are flowers but fading seen; Duty, faith, love, are roots, and ever green. A quote by George Peele. This colour palette in eternal in wedding stationery trends, it is classic and timeless.
