Befitting its royal moniker, this stately hotel stands regally on the shores of Upper Waterton Lake in Alberta, Canada. The 86-room hideaway, named in honor of Prince Edward, has been welcoming guests to its spectacular water- and mountain-view rooms since 1927. Bear’s Hump Trail is popular for its views of the hotel, town and lake. Check into this recently debuted property in Calistoga in Napa Valley and you’ll be treated to the ultimate experience. In New York’s storied Adirondacks is a series of pristine freshwater bodies that welcome visitors from all over the world.
